Unlike the OEM airbox with its harsh bends and internal baffles, the Ram-Air's streamlined and optimized shape maintains air velocity and increases air density. Built To Move
When under load, your engine rocks from side-to-side. The Ram-Air system features unique bellows that are positioned to allow engine movement.
The intake tube slides under and through these bellows to provide turbulence-free high-velocity airflow while maintaining a smooth bend into the turbo inlet.
This reduces pressure loss in the intake and improves air density within the sealed box, maximizing power and throttle response.

This induces turbulence to the air stream and a sharp bend before the turbo adds further restriction.
