Banks Ram-Air Intake feeds your 6.7L Cummins engine cooler, denser, ambient air for greater power and fuel economy. Experience the benefits of greater flow, performance, and sound over stock. Tested and validated using computational fluid dynamics software, flowbench and on-highway.

Why It's Better:

Maximum Mass Air Flow

By providing denser air to the turbo, the Banks Ram-Air system reduces the work required by the compressor. The turbo can spin slower and make the same boost. This slower compressor speed also unloads the turbine, liberating horsepower otherwise lost on the exhaust stroke.

Compared to the rest, the Banks Ram-Air® is the only intake able to feed enough air into our Monster-Ram Intake Elbow without acting as a throttle on the engine.

When matched with a Monster-Ram Intake Elbow and 3.5in Banks Boost-Tubes, maximum engine efficiency can be achieved, bringing enhanced fuel economy and consistent power delivery.

Cold Air In

The Banks Ram-Air removes the restrictive stock S shaped plastic snorkel with a straight connection to the front scoop.

At highway speeds or when towing, fresh cool air from outside the engine bay is constantly being forced into the airbox, keeping intake temps low and density or Mass Air Flow up.

Block The Heat

A durable and lightweight XLPE molded design insulates against external heat better than metal heat shields or tubes.

Its oversized internal volume acts as a plenum of fresh cool air that is insulated from the engine bay heat.

This reduces pressure loss in the intake and improves air density within the sealed box, maximizing power and throttle response.

Our shipping department takes the same time and effort in packaging your products as our engineers do in designing them. However, damage can still occur in shipping. Most of these damaged items can be easily repaired during install and or in paint prep. If this is not the case, the buyer must inspect the packaging and the products carefully upon receiving them, then accept the shipment and if need be, notate any damages and irregularities, such as crushed, torn, punctured, or broken parts on both the packaging and the product, on the freight bill or receipt at the driver’s presence. A signed receipt without any notation releases the carrier as well as SDHQ from any further damage claim. Discovery of damages after a clear delivery becomes the responsibility of the customer. The buyer must notify SDHQ of any damages within 24 hours. In cases of damage with proper notion on receipt, the carrier will determine whether to pay for the repair cost or replacement value of the damaged goods after damage inspection. Replacement value is the amount the buyer paid to SDHQ and is not negotiable. All disputes about the settlement amount shall be addressed with the carrier. SDHQ, under no circumstances, shall be liable for the damaged product or for subsequent settlement of the claim with the carrier.

POWDER COATED ROCK SLIDERS SHIPPING POLICY: While we pack with care, we advise against shipping powder-coated sliders due to the risk of scuffs/scratches during transit. Any shipping-related damage isn't covered by SDHQ.
