Adam's SDHQ Built Ford Ranger

For this build, we set out to create a capable and reliable off-road vehicle that still looks great at rolling around town. We upgraded the suspension and lighting with parts by top manufacturers such as Baja Designs, Icon Vehicle Dynamics, Camburg Engineering, Switch Pros, BuiltRight Industries, and our #SDHQBUILT products.

This Ranger is built to perform well in every situation, on-road or off-road.

Suspension

We installed Icon Vehicle Dynamics Front Coilovers, Icon Rear shocks, Icon's Add-A-Pack Leaf Kit, and Camburg's Kinetik Upper Control Arms to upgrade the suspension, increasing this Ranger's suspension performance, wheel travel and giving this Ranger a more aggressive on-road look.

The coilover and rear shocks on this Ranger are equipped with Icon's CDC Valve. The ICON CDC Valve is an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the reservoir which creates 10 levels of compression damping force ranges.

Off-Road Lighting

We upgraded the lighting by adding the Baja Designs SAE Fog Light kit for on-road use. For off-road use, we installed a set of our #SDHQBUILT A-Pillar Light mounts with Baja Design's squadron series LED lights affixed to our mounts.

We installed a Switch-Pros SP-9100 combined with our #SDHQBUILT Switch Pros Keypad Mount to control the upgrading lighting. This setup gives Adam the ability to control his LED lights while on the trail quickly.

Bed Accessories, Performance, Wheels & Tires

For the bed of this Ranger, we installed the BuiltRight Industries Bedside Rack system; this rack system will allow Adam to store items in the bed of his Ranger securely. We all know that if you are looking for tools at night, it is usually to solve a problem. To illuminate the bed and increase visibility on the trail, we installed two of our #SDHQUILT Chase Light Brackets with Baja Designs S2 sports affixed to them.

For performance, we installed a Flowmaster FlowFX Cat-Back Exhaust System giving this Ranger a sound that is all its own.

We installed a set of Icon Alloys 17" Rebound Series Wheels for wheels and tires in a bronze finish wrapped in a set of Nitto Tires (285/70/17).
