For all AUTODROMO 80 models, we improved on ergonomics and performance, while still keeping the period correct look that is embedded in every detail.

To truly add to the ATDR 80 spoke style, we used a more modern CNC milling machine that helped in creating the drop shape slots that are the centerpiece of these models.

We researched the most beautiful top grain leather available and utilized a slightly more visible texture for this model. The ATDR80 also features a round grip with back finger grooves for maximum comfort and performance.

All of the stitching in the 80 series edition is a mix between handcrafted techniques and a sewing machine. Even the sewing machine is a period correct device replicating the correct vintage techniques and processes.

AUTODROMO in Italian translates to ‘Race Track.’ It is there MPI exemplifies its quality and reputation as one of the world’s premier steering wheel manufacturers. All Autodromo wheels arehandcrafted in Italy using only the finest products available. Everydetail in the manufacturing process is meticulously considered. To maintain the vintage aesthetic, we collaborated with steering wheel experts of years past (I Vecchi Saggi).

 

The Classic AUTODROMO logo is manually silkscreened on each spoke as well as an individually engraved serial number to make each wheel a true ONE of a kind.
